What's on the lot
this week.

We buy six to eight cars a month, mostly lease returns and local trade-ins we know the history of. When one sells we don't pretend otherwise.

2012 Subaru Outback2.5i Premium AWD

$9,850est. $173/mo

High miles, priced accordingly. Head gaskets and timing belt done at 98,000 with receipts. An honest winter car, not a showpiece.

Inspection

A point count means nothing
unless you can read the list.

So here is ours. If something failed and we fixed it, the invoice comes with the car. If something failed and we chose not to fix it, it's in the listing and reflected in the price.

Mechanical

  • Compression and leak-down
  • Cooling system pressure test
  • Transmission fluid condition
  • Timing belt or chain history
  • Every fluid, topped or replaced

Underneath

  • Frame and subframe corrosion
  • Suspension bushings and struts
  • Exhaust from the manifold back
  • CV boots and axle play
  • Evidence of past collision repair

Brakes and tires

  • Pad and rotor thickness, measured
  • Tread depth at three points
  • Date codes, including the spare
  • Parking brake adjustment
  • ABS and traction faults cleared

Inside and electrical

How we work

Sixteen years on
the same corner.

Drive Thru Deals started in 2009 with four cars and a borrowed lift. The lot is bigger now, but not by much, and that's deliberate.

A short line, on purpose

Every car gets looked at properly. Each one goes through the shop before it goes out front, and if it doesn't come out in a condition we'd put a family member in, it goes to auction instead of onto the lot.

Prices stay posted

No call-for-pricing, no payment-first negotiation, no worksheet slid across a desk. You should be able to work out whether a car is worth your afternoon before you spend it here.

The faults go in too

A refinished bumper, a worn seat bolster, high miles — those go in the listing. A used car with nothing wrong with it is either new or badly described.

No invented fees

No dealer prep, window etch, nitrogen charge or reconditioning surcharge at signing. Tax, title, registration and the state documentary fee are real, and we write all four down in advance.

Financing

One application.
Every offer shown to you.

We send it to a panel of banks and credit unions, then put what comes back in front of you — rate, term, monthly payment — on the same sheet we're reading.

  1. 01Apply and we run it as a soft pull. Nothing touches your credit until you choose an offer.
  2. 02You see everything that comes back, including the offers we'd advise against taking.
  3. 03You pick the term. We won't stretch a loan to eighty-four months to make the payment look smaller than the car is.
  4. 04Out-the-door price in writing — vehicle, tax, title, registration, doc fee — before anything is signed.
Already leasing

Keeping the car
you already drive.

If your lease is ending and you'd rather keep the car than hand it back, that isn't a sale off our lot. It's a buyout — and the numbers are worth checking well before your lease-end date.

Questions

The ones we
get asked most.

Can I have the car inspected by my own mechanic?

Yes, and we'd encourage it. Take it to whoever you trust for a pre-purchase inspection. If your mechanic finds something ours missed, we want to know — that's a problem with our process, not with you.

Do you negotiate on price?

A little, but not much. Prices are set against what the car actually cost us and what comparable vehicles are selling for, not inflated to leave haggling room. If a car sits too long we reprice it publicly rather than wait for someone to ask.

What warranty comes with the car?

It depends on the vehicle. Newer cars often have factory powertrain coverage remaining, which transfers to you at no cost. Older ones are sold as-is under New Jersey's used car law, and we tell you plainly which is which before you buy.

Will you hold a car for me?

For a couple of days, yes, and without a deposit. We'd rather hold a car for someone arranging financing than push them into deciding on the spot.

Do you take trade-ins?

We appraise on the spot and give you the number we'd pay whether or not you buy something from us. If you'd do better selling privately, we'll say so.

Why are you closed on Sundays?

New Jersey law prohibits the sale of motor vehicles on Sundays. It applies to every dealer in the state. If you find a car here on a Sunday we'll hold it for Monday.

Visit

When we're open.

Walk-ins are welcome. If you've seen something here you want to drive, a word ahead means it's pulled out front and warmed up when you arrive.

Estimated payments assume 72 months at 7.99% APR with approved credit and no money down. Your rate and term depend on the lender and your credit; estimates are not an offer of credit. Advertised prices exclude tax, title, registration and documentary fees. Vehicle availability and pricing are subject to change, and errors in listings are not binding. © 2026 Drive Thru Deals.
